PMK Oscilloscope Probes
« on: December 20, 2011, 10:29:59 pm »
Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with PMK Oscilloscope Probes?

I have just purchased a Tek 2235 and would like to get some decent probes for it. These seem to be reasonably priced.

Thanks Mike

I have a 2225 and a Rigol and use these from ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-2-Two-100MHz-Oscilloscope-Probes-Probe-Tektronix-HP-/130554595161?pt=AU_B_I_Electrical_Test_Equipment&hash=item1e65a90759#ht_3069wt_1165 about $15 shipped and they work fine. They take about 2 weeks to arrive from Hong Kong, but then again the ones you picked from RS are not next day delivered, they are shipped in from OS too.

Cheers
No, I don't call myself an engineer ;)

PMK probes are fairly decent. The high voltage isolated probes sold by Fluke and Tek are PMK probes. In quality they are between the expensive Agilent/Lecroy/Tek probes and the cheap brands like ProbeMaster or the even worse no-name brands ('For HP-Agilent-Tektronix').
