Possible to view speaker crossover points on scope

True but it is the instrument that the OP has and what he asked about. A better instrument would be an RMS voltmeter, with a flat frequency response from 10Hz to 20kHz

That would work, but there is the danger of a whole load of variables clouding the issue, especially in the bass region- I'm not sure it is easier either.
