Title: Power ports in quad unit device
Post by: Back2Volts on October 14, 2016, 03:09:13 pm
I am using Kicad just to draw a circuit with a quad amp LM324.   After dropping in the second amp unit and placing a bypass cap I realized the ports and decoupling are already depicted in unit A.

Is the common practice to leave the pins in the the other units "floating" or to attempt to remove pins from drawing?

After some trying and some googling it appears there is not much that can be done in Kicad, other than to leave the redundant ports unused.    (For me, editing the part symbol to have a unique "power" unit is not an option)
