I am looking at the BTS7008 family and I can see that there is 4.7k for R(IN) value. I wonder how they come up with the value, I don't see the logic controller output voltage example anywhere. I know it would be probably 5V but still can't find the info about the voltage drop and amps to turn on the profet.
Can you point me in the right direction please?

Since the other side is an external and unknown device only some educated guesses can be made.
Arduino is giving 40mA for single pin, so 188V over 4.7k.
