hi im a beginner I am only 12 and I would like to know some beginner projects I know how to solder breadboard use an osscillascope if that helps you get ideas :)

You need to identify some "problem" to solve and then try an solve it with any help required. What sort of things interest you ?

I am interested in just making electronic things and also things that have practical uses

you can try some basic tools to help you along in your endeavors. like a simple signal injector/ tracer circuit.things along those lines.

When I was young Stereo equipment (amps, speakers and so on) were worthwhile projects, but now everything is so inexpensive that it costs more to buy a kit than the finished product.

One vital source of insperation is a very full junk box. Let everybody know that if ever anything electronics-related is on the way to the rubbish send it past you first. Speakers, christmas lights, sensors, radios, wall plug packs, motors from CD players, RC cars... The good think about junk from the junk box is that when you let the smoke out of bits without it costing you.

Just stay away from anything that could put you at risk from mains power.

Get yourself a speaker, some BJTs, some PWM chips and all sorts of other general chips from logic chips to phase locked loops, and start messing around with them and your oscilliscope, try make some funky synth or somthing, i can spend hours messing around with a few function generator chips with VCF control in them and an oscilliscope, making strange waveforms.

After you build your FM radio, you can try an aircraft radio receiver, if you live close to an airport :-+
