PSU - getting +12, -12 and 0 volts

I just purchased a Siglent SPD3303X-E bench power supply. It has three outputs, one of them being a range of fixed voltages, the other two being fully adjustable.

What I need is to be able to get +12, -12 and 0 volts from the unit. Would I do this by setting the outputs to independent mode, set both to 12 volts, then combining the inner + and - terminals to get my zero volt, using the remaining terminals for the + and - voltages?

Going by the datasheet it supports independent, series and parallel modes.
Series mode is what you're looking for.

let me add to this question: what would it happen if I were to short the + of one channel to the - of another channel (both active) in idependent mode?

I figured it out. Set to serial mode. The remaining terminals are zero volt. You can test by checking the voltage, should be 1/2 the output between the outer + or - terminals and any of the center ones.
