PTC Resettable Fuse Identification
« on: December 29, 2016, 12:39:39 pm »
I've got a lot of old components. Is there any way to identify PTC parts as none of the numbers of symbols are just codes and Googling doesn't help?

Well, the NTC thermistors and inrush limiters tend to be matt black, and the PTC fuses tend to be shiny yellow. Blue shiny tend to be ceramic capacitors though.
