Kingst has their own software:

http://www.qdkingst.com/en/download

You could try that first just to see if it recognizes your device.

appears to be using the Kingst program.

if the LA1010 program detects it for me, I wanted to use pulseview, because I am already adapted to it, but well, I have no other choice, since mine is the generic Chinese eight-channel one.

in spanish
si el programa de LA1010 me lo detecta, queria usar pulseview, porque ya estoy adaptado a este, pero bueno, no me queda otra, ya que el mio es el generico de ocho canales chino.

The LA1010 is not supported in Pulseview.
LA1016 is the cheapest Kingst analyser supported in Pulseview.

It is confusing that it mentions it in source code but does not support it.
It was an odd decision by Gerhard to do that - looking to support in future I guess.

Thank you, I will take it into account if I were to buy one of these, I would choose the LA1016 model.

Old post, but just accomplished to use Kingst LA1010 with Pulseview, on Linux (root) and Windows (you need to also install KingstVIS).

I write down spanish instructions. I post Google translate here; you can ask me any question here.
