Mouse bites, v scoring or something else?

I have to design a interface PCB to fit into 2 x different enclosures...

The circuit will always be the same, but the mounting holes and dimensions will be different for whichever enclosure its going into.

For one enclosure I will need a slightly larger PCB to pick up on existing mounting holes. So my plan it to design everything to fit into the smaller enclosure, then add some break off areas of PCB for the larger enclosure fixings.

So - what would people use for the breakoff area's.... Mouse bites, v-scoring or something else.
