Question on Brymen BM235 & Fluke 17B+
« on: February 24, 2020, 03:50:19 pm »
I know this may be a dumb question from a newbie on DMM's but I've narrowed down my new DMM to two choices.

Fluke 17B+ , and the brymen BM235

I'm kinda leaning towards the Brymen (EEVblog rebrand) because I've seen people saying the Fluke has no warranty, and no English manual.

So my questions are, If I buy the brymen, will these tips work on the probes that come with it? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VRFL10/?coliid=I35MEMH6V2TRVS&colid=1C5RQ0A596HZV&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it

If not can i get some fluke probes for the brymen? are probes a universal fit between DMM's? At that point should i just go with the Fluke? I need those tips because I do work on some VERY small smd components and these would be GREAT to have. I've already found myself needing them a few times over now and I have a cheap radio shack DMM at the moment so its time to upgrade.
