So I have an old Sega Genesis 2 with audio but no video. It could be the video chip, but I've no way to really test it, so I thought I'd give recapping it a try - makes for good practice, anyway.

In any case, I was wondering if there's any good guidance on what to replace electrolytics with... I know electrical performance varies with various types, so replacing an electrolytic with another type of cap may not yield the best results. Still, it would be nice to replace them with something that isn't electrolytic. I've not really seen much guidance on this - what little I've found isn't particularly clear. Are there alternatives?
