D-Sub Mixed Contact Connectors: do they have "inserts"?
« on: January 04, 2022, 10:40:14 pm »
Hey all, I'm trying to get this Rubidium clock module working. It has an 11w1 mixed d-sub connector:

1370132-0

I'm not very familiar with this connector type. Most of the possible mates I find are missing a central element to connect to the 10MHz output (the most important part!)

1370138-1

So I assume there must be some kind of "insert" into these connectors that would allow me to connect the RF signal?  Especially since these can be used for either RF or high current applications I guess the idea is you can mix and match.  But what would that insert connector be called? I don't know what to google for.

(Edit: sorry I can't figure out how to inline the attached images  :palm:)

I can't find it right now, but I should have a few I can share.

You can buy them from DigiKey but it will end up awfully expensive.  What I have is sort of a breakout board with the connector.  PM me if interested.
