Hi everyone, i am replacing an inverter on a power supply board, it was used to provide high voltage for an EL backlight, i have replaced that old screen with one that does not need the inverter so it has been removed. I wanted to replace the inverter with a resistor (the value is correct, i'm sure, i asked here :D) but now i am realizing i don't know which pin is which. Do i need the schematic to tell or can i measure the resistance between the 3 pins? (Pin "out" to the one above it registers 0.9 k Ohms, pin "out" to the pin diagonal from it registers 6 M ohms) The schematic shows "in", "out" and "com', but does not indicate which pin is which. I indicated the "out" pin but i am not sure which is "in" or "com". It looks like this: |
