| Rf module stops working in between transmission! |

| electroguy98:
Hello. I'm trying to make a gesture controlled car using adxl335 and atneag328p. 433mhz rf module is being used for wireless transmission along with ht12e and ht12d. The code and schematic is fine and works well with LEDs. However, when i connect motors using l293d they start spinning when i tilt my hand forward but don't stop when i return my hand to rest position. It's like the reception has stopped entirely and is restored by manually stopping the motor. I've tried different supply for RX and l293d but doesn't work. I've also tried soldering ceramic caps across motor terminals, decoupling caps across vcc and gnd of ic, electrolytic caps but nothing worked :(( please guys help me out with this as I'm almost done with this project. Thanks |

If you replace the motor with a resistive load and measure voltage across it, does the circuit behave correctly? If yes then the problem is interference from the motor; to fix that you are going to have to pay careful attention to supply decoupling and to grounding. |

Yes, it sounds like the motor is emitting radio waves which are interfering with the transmitter. Try connecting a ceramic capacitor from each of the motor terminals to its metal case. If that doesn't work, add a ferrite bead with a few turns wrapped round it in series with both motor terminals. |

Also try adding a flyback diode across the motor terminals, and maybe an RC snubber circuit. |
