Title: Floppy drives and their right angle header with reversed key
Post by: fabiodl on April 16, 2021, 04:11:14 am
Many floppy drives have a shrouded 34 pin connector with the notch on the bottom, as by attached picture.
However, all shrouded right angle 34 pin headers I find have the notch on the top
Have a look here for example (https://www.digikey.jp/products/en/connectors-interconnects/rectangular-connectors-headers-male-pins/314?k=connectors&k=&pkeyword=connectors&sv=0&pv2021=402175&pv2021=402177&sf=1&FV=69%7C411921%2C88%7C190535%2C90%7C121326%2C1790%7C9726%2C-8%7C314&quantity=&ColumnSort=0&page=1&stock=1&photo=1&pageSize=500).
Do you know any source / what I should look for?

Some drives have the notch in the PCB

but all the others seem to have that bottom notch on the shroud
