You really should use the search feature.  There are nearly constant threads running on this topic.  Search also for Siglent SDS1104X-E and unlocking it to 200 MHz or the lower cost SDS1102X-E or the more costly SDS1204X-E

Hi. for price, quality and performance, the Rigol DS1054z, is the best option, it is a very proven equipment, I pack mine with shipping $ s420 to Argentina. Here in the forum there are many representatives of siglent who throw garbage to rigol

Yes, it is a good buy. They are even bundling it free with all of the options that they usually charged for.
Great entry level scope.

I own the DS1054Z and it is a great entry level scope.  OTOH, the Siglent entries I posted above weren't available at the time I bought the Rigol so I'm not sure I would buy it today.  That's why you need to use the search feature.  Forget all the fanboy nonsense and pay attention to technical issues.  The Siglent User Interface (UI) is purported to be faster.  That's pretty easy to accomplish because the Rigol UI is slow.  The Rigol has been around longer and has had more firmware upgrades.  To their credit, Siglent has been pretty quick to respond with upgrades but they're still a couple of years behind Rigol in maturity - if it matters.

I said I'm not sure I would buy the Rigol today.  I'm also not sure I wouldn't.  It's a great scope.

Permanent Rigol issues:  Slow UI, loud fan, detentless rotary encoder for option selection.  The rotary encoder can be replaced as can the fan but the warranty goes right out the window.  The slow UI is forever.  Details elsewhere...

No  Siglent beats Rigol at the same price point, They may have less things or are more expensive. Siglent may have a deal  on a Spectrum analyzer or function generator, Scopes no way Rigol give you MUCH more for the money

Me too. Its proven, its old, its stable, it has (almost) no bugs, SCPI works just fine, with all options included you hardly get more bang for the buck.

Nice- there is nothing like having a scope. It lets you see what the wiggly amps are really doing. :)
