I am trying to save a CSV file using the Average acquisition mode (with the DS4034 it goes up to 8192). However, the data on the CSV file is not actually averaged. It looks pretty similar to what you get using Normal or High Res acquisition.
My question is the following: is it possible to save the actual averaged data? If yes, how? If not, is it a specific bug from this oscilloscope or are there some arcane reason that prevents it?
I have a hard time believing this Average feature would be just for the display on the oscilloscope. It is listed as an Acquisition mode dammit.

I could upload the files and make screenshots of the tests I made but I think I explained the problem carefully.
