I never had luck opening a drive sled with a paperclip. The clips are too soft and they bend before you can exert enough force to overcome the latch.
To push open a drive sled, you really need quite a bit of force.

Luckily, i still have an original opening pin that was included with a drive many years ago. That has at least double the diameter of a paperclip, it actually barely fits the hole. It flexes a bit, but does not bend.

You can't tell a bad belt just by looking at it.  With experience, you can stretch it  and asses the condition of the rubber.  e.g. if it doesn't immediately return to the original size when released or shows any signs of surface cracking or crumbling or looks uneven when stretched, its bad.

After I removed the rubber the drive slides normally through the drive but with rubber the drive does not open tray or the tray opens 90%

I still don't know whether or not to buy another rubber

Your country flag says Belgium, and I assume they have pretty good
consumer protection laws. Take it back to the seller and ask for a
refund or a new drive.

I suspect they might be from Brazil.  They seem to have been banned for spamming identical topics/questions.
