Camera stabilizer motors question
« on: September 19, 2016, 08:31:46 pm »
Hi everyone,

I am really interesting with camera hand 3 axis stabilizer like below photo. Firstly, I was thinking that there are some servo motors but, then,  I looked forward something on internet and I got it they use brushless motors like that https://tr.aliexpress.com/item/2805-140kv-Brushless-Motor-Hollow-Shaft-for-3-axis-Storm32-Brushless-Camera-Gimbal-GOPRO3/32553402119.html?spm=2114.010208.3.1.QT4iAL&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_8,searchweb201602_3_10057_10056_10065_10068_10055_10054_10069_301_10059_10058_10032_418_10073_10017_10070_10060_10061_10052_10062_10053_10050_10051,searchweb201603_2&btsid=9fb21006-c621-40d7-901e-0d10cdec244b

Nowadays, I am also ineresting with rc planes which have electric brushless motor but I known that brushless motors are fast and have nice torque but are useless at sensevitive motion(as step motors or servo motors) however, as we see, they are good at micro step motion or sensetive angle motion.

So, I am wondering that how can I drive these motors? and how can I turn them like micro-step step motors?

Best Regards,
Karamel ^-^

With roll your own 3-phase drivers, or with lots of different chips made for that.
They are soooo common in the RC world.

I really did not understand how i can do it because, I had rotated brusless motor with my hand and with esc controller. Thus, there were, maybe, ten step and this is 36 degree but it can rotate like 1.8 degree step motors? How can it be possible?  :-\
