Sim900A cipsend fail if used continuously
« on: September 25, 2014, 05:03:20 pm »
I have configured sim900a module to send data over tcp/ip.

First few time I am able to send data by AT+CIPSEND, then I get ''>" reply & enter the data & then 0x1A.
After that I got "SEND OK" from module.

But then after some continuous successes it fails. First it stop send "SEND ok" & then sometimes module don't send ">"

1. Frequency of success & failure vary everytime.

2. I call CIPSEND every 5 sec & send 10 bytes of data everytime.

while i dont own your modem, have a close look at what data was sent prior to it playing up, i've had a few issues where a pattern used to define end of a large chunk of data on my device matched a factory setup code which then bricked the device until a power cycle,
