Simulating a motor driver in ltspice with DRV8701 gate driver
« on: February 03, 2024, 11:47:16 pm »
Hi, I have some questions about a circuit I'm simulating in LTspice. This circuit is designed to drive a 12 volt brushed DC motor using the DRV8701 gate driver and CSD88537ND NMOSFETs. I'm definitely a beginner but as far as I can tell I've set this up properly according to the datasheets but I'm not getting the results I expect. In the current configuration, I would expect there to be a constant 12 volts applied across my motor(just a 10ohm resistor) but it's just hovering around 0. I've attatched my .asc and .libs for the ICs(the models come directly from TIs website). Does anyone have some wisdom that could help me here? I'm also not sure what the ppad pin is as it does not appear in the datasheet. Thanks in advance!
