Sine oscillator
(1/1)
thefatmoop:
I'm making an LC meter and currently waiting on my DDS module. I wanted to free up my function gen, so i built a buffered phase shift oscillator. http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt164/slyt164.pdf top of phage 4.
The yellow is the output of the oscillator, and the blue is the output of the RL voltage divider. Is the blue non sinusoidal because the oscillator has a lot of THD? Is this type of oscillator a parabolic oscillator?
the op amps i'm using have 6mhz BW
Paul Price:
Looks to me like a quasi-quadrature elliptical transform oscillator. Definitely not a parabolic amplifier.
