Fkc05-12D12 regulator module...
« on: June 06, 2014, 01:06:28 am »
I was going to use one of these just to get a -12volt rail, but found out that if the rails aren't evenly loaded, they become unbalanced... 60ma load dropped it to -11.8volts.

I've already designed the pcb with this part, but can always change it...
Is there another option to easily get -12volts at upto 100ma, from a 15-19volt input voltage?

Thanks!

If you need just the negative voltage, you can use single output type and connect positive output to your ground. This works because the module is isolated.

I already had this part, so I designed the board around it, before I tested what it did with an uneven load  :--
