MOSFET matching for PFC section of ATX PSU
« on: March 01, 2018, 02:29:17 pm »
For a Corsair CX600W (600W)PSU I'm fixing, I need to match 2 MOSFET's (so far). They are K18A60V so 18A and 600V rated.

I'm going to use an LM317 circuit to test them for G-S voltage and S current.

But what input voltage and current should I be aiming for? I can easily hook up, upto 37V(max for typical LM317 circuit)

But I have no easy or safe way to get anywhere near what the PSU provides to them.

Why would you think they would need to be matched?  I doubt that they would need to be matched, this would be costly to mfg.
