Title: SMD tweezers are great for everything !!
Post by: MathWizard on February 08, 2021, 12:17:18 am
Last year I ordered a set of tweezers for SMD work, but I've mainly used just the curved ones for breadboarding and picking parts out of cans/containers/bins/etc.

I find them GREAT at placing/removing parts on a breadboard, including prying up DIP's.

I use them to hold stuff when soldering too, but they are not meant for prying on PCBs, but they work great at holding a wire something small that needs no real force.

I'd like a version for food, I think I would anyways. Also multi-purpose, upgradable, retractable versions built into my finger tips.

If you don't have any, get yourself a pair, in some cases magnetic ones might help, but they are typically non-magnetic.

I swear, they make breadboarding way easier sometimes, and picking parts out of bins, they are so much more needle like than our fingers. You can feel all the extra precision, and you don't want to put them down.
