Understanding , testing transformers
« on: October 04, 2017, 07:03:57 am »
Hi, I've been researching transformers and I can't seem to find anything about a particular issue I have came across. I'm posting here in hopes to get some help.

Inverter board : transformer pin 5 voltage drop .I have tested all the transformers and they all have the same voltage while grounded  , but I noticed one has a severe voltage drop on one of its pins when not grounded, which makes me believe a faulty transformer, what i would like to know is how and why do transformers have voltage drop fault , is it fixable and why do I get same voltage on all transformers pins while grounded ? Any help is much needed and appreciated thank you
