SR latch and D flip flop
« on: August 09, 2018, 02:22:37 am »
How does the two SR latches resemble a resetable D flip flop ? Could anyone elaborate ?

This circuit suffers from a limited speed—a minor issue because in frequency-multiplying PLLs, ωin is typically much lower than ωout

I am also not quite sure about the speed limitation as well...

You haven't really described what it is you are having trouble with. I'd suggest searching for "flip-flip logic" and you'll get plenty of hits. Here's one to start with: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip-flop_(electronics)

If you want to know about a specific flip-flip, look at its datasheet. They're usually pretty useful.
