SRP420 Polyswitch - Polarized?
« on: April 30, 2019, 01:40:22 am »
Re: Raychem SRP420-CKDX
This polyswitch has a blue stripe. Does that indicate polarity? Stripe = Negative; like a diode? I did not see this in the (Littelfuse?) Data Sheet...
It was part of a rechargible battery pack.
Thank you for your help.

I can’t imagine what would make it electrically polarized.

It could just be used for some sort of machine vision, or be a mark on the tape roll to indicate the peeling direction (so that it can be loaded into a machine properly).
