I am working on a home project where I need to 3V and 5V, starting from 24VAC.   Most of the current budget on the 3.3V, with just a token current on 5V.   It will be feeding an ESP32 development board, with small display and a number of small parts.   I doubt it will get over a few hundred mA, so I am looking for a switching regulator capable of delivering 500mA at 5V, feeding a 3.3V LDO.

I have a circuit in LTspice with a LT8607, which would do it.   The problem is that the part is too small for my use.   I was looking at the AD/LT parts because of the availability of models for LTspice, but all are in very small packages.

I would like a 5V  step down part that can take 36 to 40V as input, on something like an SOIC and with model for LTspice.

A will appreciate any suggestions.
