Lets say I am working on a project that requires me to switch between 5 different headphone jack sources to one headphone. The only way to accomplish this is to use a set of two relays per source and design my project to power on the set of relays of the source that i want to listen to? My question is, is this only achievable through relays? Is there a less expensive option? |

You could roll your own with FETs/analog mux circuits. |

Can or do the sources share a common ground? That's really going to drive the design. |
