tek 2215 crt shield

I have a crt from a dead tek 2215 scope, would i be rite in thinking its metal shield id mu metal?,if so can it be used for rf shielding?.

no the Netic/CoNetic high mu metal is only for magnetic fileds at low frewq.

Any metal like aluminum can be an effective shield for RF
