You can delete your own posts when they are somewhere in a topic, but not when the post you want to delete is the one that started a new topic (can not delete your own OP - Opening Post).  It is possible, however, to move a topic you created (together with all its replies) in another EEVblog category/subforum.

Also specific to EEVblog, there are very few moderators and they are busy with spam or other problems, they usually don't have bandwidth for personal requests, like please delete/move my post, or please merge these two topics, or split this long one, etc.
