[SOLVED] Testing AS6C4008 SRAM in a TL866 II ?

Does anyone know if you can test Alliance AS6C4008 SRAM (DIP32) in a TL866 II+. The AS6C4008 does not show up in the list of chips in the software, but there is a 628512 which has the same pinout and is also a 512K x 8.
(AS6C1008 SRAM tests ok in the TL866 as the 68128)
I have a suspect SRAM but don't want to test it if it's not compatible and risk destroying it.
Datasheet for the AS6C4008

Found some post on another forum that said the 628512 can be used.
Tested with that and it passed on the TL866.
Hope this helps someone else in future who has the same query.
