ALLelectroNIX
« on: March 30, 2020, 08:48:11 am »
Hello everyone!

My name is Steffen, better known as ALLelectroNIX!
Just like EEVblog, I started a YouTube channel, trying to spread my knowledge about electricity & electronics with everyone  :-+
I've sent an e-mail to Dave (owner of EEVblog) with the question if he could help me with my new YouTube channel, unfortunately (but still understandable) he can't give me a shoutout but instead I'm allowed to try it here on my own. So here I am!

If you want to start learning the basics of electricity of electronics, checkout my YouTube channel! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHvwcCHvQsAX3pnIVm1herg?view_as=subscriber

Thanks alot!

BTW: I live in Belgium what means I can speak Dutch (mothertongue) and French (learned at school) . I chose to make videos in Dutch. The first reason I don't do it in English is because: there are alot and alot of YouTube channels who make videos for beginners in English but not in Dutch!
Second reason: it's my mothertongue so that makes sense

I watched you go through logic gates,  thats great.  I subscribed, hope for more videos.
If I were to do this, id start with resistors and teach voltage dividers, because its more closer to the medium of
electricity we use to get insane clock speeds,  but then everyone would hate the way I do it im pretty sure,  im getting low cred on this site already.
[edit] woops just saw you do the parallel and series thing, nice.[/edit]

Thanks for the feedback and the subscribe!!  ;D
Thats correct, but I put video's online not only of electricity but also about digital electronics & i tought that this was one of the most basic video's of digital electronics.
I'm now creating a new video for that playlist & the subject will be 'binairy, decimal &nd hexadecimal' how to convert those numbers & how to count them :)

I'd have thought French would give you a wider viewer base - 5th most widely spoken worldwide, Dutch isn't even in the top 20!
Youtube channel:Taking wierd stuff apart. Very apart.
Mike's Electric Stuff: High voltage, vintage electronics etc.
Day Job: Mostly LEDs

By speaking Dutch I mean it's my mothertongue meanwhile I learned French at school so my vocabulary ain't good enough to do it in French, excuses for misunderstanding! I'll adjust it in my 1st message ;)

I watched the full Series episode.  Although I don’t speak/understand the language it’s my impression you are talented at presenting the material at a pace that is likely to be educational (easy to follow and understand) and fast enough to hold interested viewers’ attention.  I also think your various videos are breaking topics down to good basic subjects spanning analog and digital.  All in all:  Congrats!  Only possible enhancement would be to find away to make the videos in English :)

Hello Electro Fan!

Thanks for those sweet words :D
I'll try to make some English versions of my videos when i have enough subscribers and views, at this point of popularity, I don't think it's necessary to translate them yet, 90% of my subscribers are ppl who speak Dutch as their mothertongue. When my popularity is more spread along more languages, I might translate them :)

I watched a little and as I only speak English I just had to go by the videos which were very well done. One minor change that I think would improve these lessons would be to have a backdrop, even a white sheet, so viewers aren't distracted by what is in your room. Keep up the good work!
