Hi. I have been making electronics and stuff for a couple years, but I am always terrible at building them on perfboard. I always find that I bridge something, connect wrong wires, and have the solder run through the holes (The WORST >:() Does anyone have any tips?

1: show pictures since we cannot comment otherwise
2: practice soldering, as shown in https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL926EC0F1F93C1837 (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL926EC0F1F93C1837)
3: use Manhattan techniques, they are faster and electrically better

Yes, pictures. Show us your soldering iron and especially its tip. What kind of solder are you using?
What kind of circuits are you trying to create? Big difference when creating a power circuit vs RF or precision or....
P.S. I've made some really cruddy circuits but have never had what I would describe as 'solder running through holes'. What does that mean?

And what kind of perfboard are you using? Solder running through the holes implies to me that it's double sided and through hole plated. The stuff I've used in the past has been the cheapie single sided Rat Shack boards. I too will (I think at this point third) the request for some photos of what you're getting now - seeing it would help us to determine what's going on.
