Title: TJA1051T
Post by: Robert Stone on November 03, 2024, 12:24:29 pm
I wonder How can I use this module? when I connect this converter to my laptop, no COM port is recognized. I have downloaded a few CAN analayzer software , but the module is still not detected.

As far as i remember TJA1051T is a CAN interface. What is the other, bigger chip in your adapter? It should be some USB capable MCU or another USB interface. Maybe you need to find a driver for that chip. The search term appears to be "CANABLE X1" or go here: https://canable.io/getting-started.html (https://canable.io/getting-started.html)

Regards, Dieter

Edit: Somewhere else i found a better image and the MCU appears to be a STM32F072. ST offer USB drivers for their STM32 MCUs for download here: https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32102.html (https://www.st.com/en/development-tools/stsw-stm32102.html).
