Wheatstone Bridge Alternative

Hello

SETUP

An alternative to the Wheatstone bridge is the star bridge.
Excitation voltage goes from Vdc Power to Earth ground
Signal voltage goes from Vdc Signal to GND
Bridge resistances R1, R2, R3 & R4 are the same.
Arm resistances R5, R6, R7 & R8 are the same.
(Bridge and arm resistances are different.)
Signal adjustment potentiometer span across signal output

OPERATION

Given a X Voltage the signal response is Z mV/V.
That is a Z mV per excitation voltage.
A 2 mV/V design produces 20 mV at full signal @ 10 Vdc

DESIGN

Given an B value of bridge resistance and S mV signal output
How to determine the required arm and pot resistances?

You can start doing a D/Y variant to lower right part.
