Trying To Get My CNC Machine Chooching Again
« on: August 22, 2018, 02:15:57 pm »
Hello EEVBlog Forum Members,

I am hoping to get a discussion area where I can get some tips on how to get this CNC operational again.

Its a cheapo 3 stepper motor, 16cm x 10cm work-area, that I bought off ebay for around $260 Canadian Dollhairs

I messed up the firmware on the original driver board, and I bought a new one off ebay but i cannot seem to get it to dial in.

I will share more pictures and in depth info on later posts.

Thanks everyone,

Ben

i think that those cnc come with a woodpecker board so you have simply to flash a new firmware on the 328p, ther a re a lot of tutorials on how to do it online

I just want to quickly say thanks to you guys before this thread is officially done.
I figured out my CNC issues, for some reason with the new driver I bought (along with the CAM software I am using) I have to custom scale the drawings before I mill them.
The scale ratio is easy to remember: Scale larger 321%
Anyhow, I am going to start another topic soon to try and get a little bit of help gettting my cheapo 3D printer bought off ebay working.
I am a sucker for the cheap CNC stuff.
Thanks again.
Regards,
Ben
