Trying to solder with a cheapo hot air gun.

Well, I tried out the uCurrent, and after figuring out how to connect it correctly to my specific circuit that has more power supplies than I really should have, I measured it against two Mastech bench top meters.

I found my ground loop, and I was able to get rid of it too without using isolation, at least for low voltage input.

All in all, what I found with the uCurrent, when set at the mA setting, using the 10milliohm shunt, it was about 100uA less than the measurement from the two current meters of about 238mA.  These meters are not calibrated, and purchased years ago, but I was reviewing the accuracy of the DC current measurement under the mA setting.  The mA setting had a .05% +- 6 digit error, with a 10uA lowest digit.

That means the measurement from the Mastech meters were within 0.05% and then you add or subtract 60uA.

The uCurrent is well within the 0.05% error as advertised, and now, I have a current meter that can measure mA with only a 10 milliohm added impedance vs about a measured 11.88 ohms from those Mastech meters.

Thanks Dave Jones!
