Title: TV IR Remote controls what are some fun experiments to do with them ???
Post by: lordvader88 on September 23, 2017, 10:37:17 pm
I've never hocked 1 up to anything  or an Oscope, and how do they work ?

An IR LED flashes near 30-40-50kHz

When did they start using them as a standby pwr switch on, and back at the beginning

An LED pulses a sqr. wave binary , how does the TV compare that to some internal saved binary code ? Was it 4000 and 74 logic stuff to save a short "program "(incomplete sentence/though)

It's fascinating the way all that started out, but I don't know how they did it with mechanical systems, and then whent electriacal logic

I must learn more,

What are some fun TV remote projets ?
