USB High Speed host - IC search help

I've spent last few days searching for something that would suit my coursework project.
I think I found a perfect IC for this task - ST ERICSSON ISP1763A, but it's not available anywhere and the minimum order of 1000 (according to the datasheet, for VFQFPN64 package) is definitely no way for me (treat it as hobby project), I would need no more than 10 of them.

So I would like to request some suggestion on choosing another IC for this (or even can be microcontroller with embedded HS host (which can handle two downstream ports)) - I don't need the OTG or Peripheral features (oh, and please no BGA)

ISP1760 looks pretty available  - will this do?

Am I missing something here? The popular NXP LPC1768 has Host/Device/OTG and comes in 100-pin LQFP for £7:43. Olimex do a very fancy dev board for €110.

If that is too much, the LPC1754 is £4:53 and 80 pin LQFP.

You can pretty much convert pounds directly to US dollars thanks to the rip-off UK economy.

That is not high speed. USB 2.0 does not necessarily mean High Speed (480mbits/s).

Yes - it doesn't support high speed, only full speed (12Mbits)
