Use of cursor in DS1000 series
« on: June 15, 2019, 08:24:11 am »
When I set cursor to manual, a form of measurements appears.
It makes moving the cursor quite impossible.
How can I hide it ?
I use a DS1054Z
Thanks in advance

The small button over the soft keys turns the main cursor menu off.  You can then move the waveform horizontally to get it clear of the smaller cursor readout menu (The readout menu stays on until you hit the lighted Cursor activation button a second time.).  You can manipulate the cursors without the main cursor menu being on the screen (just the smaller cursor readout menu is on) by depressing the multi-function knob; it moves cursor control between A, B and AB.  (I have the DS1102D and am not sure if everything applies between it and the DS1054Z.)  Hope this helps.
