Title: Uses of capacitor connected in series with Vdc

Capacitor is connected in series with Vdc to clear off the ripple of Vdc.
However, the value of capacitor is just 100 nano Farad .
it is possible to clear off ripple of Vdc or its act as another function as well?

I guess I don't see the capacitor as 'in series' with anything but rather connected across the power supply and it is intended to absorb high frequency transients.  This is commonly called a 'decoupling capacitor'.  Dave has a video about this:

It absolutely is not.  It is connected in parallel, commonly described as "across".

Using multiple Earth symbols for all "ground" points is frequently done, but it takes away the visual cue of a single line running across the circuit diagram, which makes parallel connections much more obvious.
