Does anyone know the best way to extend a very short positive pulse, of let's say 10 ns to something like 1 us, coming out of a comparator? Thanks!

I was thinking one could do it with Schmitt inverters (please see below attached), but had limited luck with it.

Extending pulses is the sort of thing that a one-shot multivibrator is made for. The 74HC123 and the 555 timer can do that.

10ns is short for a 555 - even a CMOS 555 such as the 7555, go with the 74HC part if the voltage allows (upto 6V)

Yes, I managed to make it work with 74HC123 - a powerful IC!
