| Variable delay nanopulser |

| Srg:
Can anyone tell me about this unit. What it was used for and what it can be used for? Thanks for any help |
| Zero999:
It's a pulse generator. It can be triggered by an external signal or generate a square wave, depending on the settings. |
| David Hess:
The high voltage on the "width" connector indicates that it is an avalanche pulse generator and the width is controlled by an external charge line. The sync output and delay indicate to me that among other things it was intended to be used with sequential sampling oscilloscopes that require a pretrigger signal. |

Yes it is used as a pretrigger in older scopes but the generator is based on a DSRD - not on an avalanche breakdown. |
