Velleman VTSS5 locking nut replacement
« on: February 16, 2024, 05:49:50 pm »
I lost the locking nut of my Velleman VTSS5 soldering station. I cant find the exact replacement either but I do see the Weller KN60 which "looks" identical. Can someone who has experience with both soldering irons/stations say if they are interchangeable ? Or if you have a Weller and can measure the exact inside/thread diameter of the nut and the threads on the iron as well that would be very helpful too.
Thanks!

There is a vendor on Ebay that sells packages of tips that include a nut. https://www.ebay.com/itm/371651448665 Not the cheapest solution but at least you get the right part your looking for. Or you could ask the vendor if he or she sells just the nut.
