Title: Voltage Booster
Post by: skillz21 on April 16, 2016, 11:22:02 am
i was trying to build a voltage booster. and i was failing pretty badly, check out my schematic for proof. the capacitor was 10uF and it is an arduino uno (Rev3). i am sorry for the messiness, i am in a bit of a hurry. so when i did this, the arduino started to make a weired noise. like it had a buzzer... What? it started making a faint beep. why is this happening? is this harming my arduino? And if you guys can, can you link in the simplest voltage booster you can find? i need to step around 4.7v to around 9v.
Thanks :-+

Good chance you have fried the Arduino.

I could tell you how to do it, but you are probably in too much of a rush to read it.  You schematic likely has nothing to do with how you actually wired it.
