| Vout on an HPF with a Simulated Inductor |
| (1/1) |
| eev_carl:
Hi, I built the attached HPF circuit. It's Figure 2 from this PDF: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slyt134/slyt134.pdf . I have my scope set to logarithmically sweep a range of frequencies and am creating a Bode plot. When I connect the scope to the output of the lower op amp (NOT Vout as listed in the schematic), I get the attached scope image which looks perfect to me. However, if I scope Vout as specified in the schematic, I get something (not attached) that looks more like a low pass filter. I was wondering if someone could help me reconcile what I'm seeing on my scope with the schematic. Thanks in advance, Carl |

Here is a picture of my scope where I put the probe at Vout as listed in the diagram. (At the output of the first/top op amp.) These are the values that I'm using * R1 = 10k * RS = 50k * C1 = 0.047uF * R5 = 10k Could the schematic and PDF possibly be wrong in their listing of Vout? Thanks, Carl |
