Well not an easy task your are asking, since not all ac powered devices like it if voltage is not exactly sine wave... I would recomend buy cheap ready made unit. Much safer too if you dont have experience dealing with ac circuits.

In my country i can get small inverter as cheap as 30 - 50 euros, witch in my standards is cheap... Not much point building one unless your doing it to learn or just dont have any other choise...

Emergency power really docent need much, charge your phone, some led lights going... Anything power hungry you are usually better of getting yourself real generator anyways...

Electronics, Linux, Programming, Science... im interested all of it...

i want to power my small electronic hobby projects.

i want to learn by designing an inverter(dc to ac converter).

So instead of you wanting someone else to do all the work for you and give you a ready made schematic, why not try designing one ?

A few seconds search on google is enough to find multiple designs, but so far it seems you've put in the absolute minimum amount of effort possible by just asking others to do all the work for you without even providing the most basic of requirements (how much power will you expect to run from it etc). Not the right attitude for any future engineer.   |O
