Watt values of resistors with parallel connection
« on: January 29, 2018, 07:23:49 pm »
Hi. Does it increase? If it doesn't increase, how to increase watt values of resistors with connection style?  Thank you all.

The power rating of each individual resistor remains the same. If the resistor values are all the same, then the power rating can simply be multiplied by the number of resistors.

If the resistors are not the same value, then just apply Ohm's law: V2/R or I2R.
